"Happiness in family life is most likely to be achieved when founded
upon the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ. Successful marriages and
families are established and maintained on principles of faith,
prayer, repentance, forgiveness, respect, love, compassion, work, and
wholesome recreational activities."

As a versatile learning tool, Scriptorian is a valuable resource for family members of all ages:
Articles of Faith: As primary children work to earn their Faith in God award, Scriptorian will help them memorize the Articles of Faith. Parents and teachers can also benefit from this review. The Scriptorian Applet can also be used to learn the Articles of Faith.

Scripture Mastery: Seminary aged youth will study the standard works over a four year period, learning twenty five key scripture passages each year. Scriptorian is the most effective tool for memorizing these verses and remembering where they are located. These study lists are included with the Scriptorian download or you may choose to use the Scriptorian Applet learn these verses.

Mission Preparation: Missionary preparation should begin in the home and include frequent and thorough study of the "Preach My Gospel" guide. Prospective missionaries should be familiar with the missionary lesson outlines and memorize the key scriptures which support the concepts taught. Both the lesson outline and the associated scriptures are available as free Scriptorian study list downloads

Family Scriptures and Hymns: Learning scriptures and hymns together as a family is a helpful activity for keeping hearts and minds founded upon gospel principles. Again, Scriptorian is an excellent tool for helping each family member learn the words of hymns (nearly 300 hymns are included) as well as any verse from the LDS standard works.

Homework and more: Because Scriptorian is flexible in what it can be used for, many people have created their own homework study lists to use with Scriptorian. It can be used for Spanish vocabulary. It can be used for math. It can be used for music terminology. It can be used in a thousand different ways to help everyone learn.

"What impresses me most about Scriptorian is how personalized and versatile it really is...
I have also found that it has greatly revitalized my own
scripture study."
Jennifer Foust,
BellaOnLine's LDS Host
"This is wonderful! We memorize scriptures and hymns in Morning Devotional, but when I tried Complete Fill-in on the hymn that we had just memorized, I found out that I didn't know it quite so well as I'd thought. At that point, I was sold. It worked for solidifying the Articles of Faith for my children (who also thought they already knew them) as well. And it is wonderful for spelling practice, too."
Sharon
"Kids love it. It has helped them to learn their Articles of Faith and taught them new words and how to spell them. I use it to learn my medical words as well as scripture."
Vanessa
"Thank you for providing such a wonderful program. My son and I love it and use it as a Family Home Evening Challenge game. Believe me, anything that can keep a 19 yr old and his mom entertained together is a very good thing!"
Isabel
"I LOVE Scriptorian... Wanted to let you know that we don't use the program to anywhere it's full capabilities, but it's GREAT for our homeschooling use and I love it as an appropriate Sabbath afternoon activity, along with Oregon Trail, so if it served NO other purpose around here- that would be plenty."
