How To: Copy between study lists
Scriptorian provides two methods for copying items between study lists. This is useful for many needs. For example, if several people use the same study list, then Scriptorian's weighting feature will be of little use. However, if a copy of the study list was made for each person, then they could use their own copy of the study list, with their copy maintaining their own weighting and results.
The first method is to use the Copy Between Study Lists dialog. This method is best for copying many study items at once, or for copying into a new study list. You can open this dialog by either selecting Edit, then Copy Between from the main menu or clicking on the Copy button on the tool bar. This dialog displays the contents of two study lists side by side, allowing you to select study items in one to copy or move to the other. You can select multiple study items by holding the Ctrl key down while using the mouse, or holding the Shift key down while using the arrow keys. The second method of copying between study lists is to "drag" the desired study item from one study list and "drop" it on another. This is a quick way to copy or move a few study items between lists. You can use this method if the two study lists you want to copy between are displayed in Scriptorian. Select the item you want to copy and, while holding the Ctrl key down and the left mouse button down, move the cursor from the study list you are copying from over to the study list you want to copy to. If you want to move the study items (i.e. delete them from the study list you are copying from after you have copied them to the destination study list) do not hold the Ctrl key down while moving the cursor to the destination study list.
