How To: What's This?

Scriptorian includes many different ways to get help and information regarding its various features and functions. When you first started using Scriptorian, hopefully you took the time to step through the tutorial so that you might understand all of its basic features. Then as you wanted to do more, you may have taken advantage of the How Do I? helps for performing certain tasks. Both the Tutorial and How Do I? help are available from the Help menu, as well as all of the on-line help documentation provided with Scriptorian. Most questions you might have can likely be answered from this file.

Another nice help features is the What's this? help that is available throughout Scriptorian, especially in the different dialogs. This help provides quick information regarding different components and options that are currently displayed in the program. For example, if the Study List tab of the Options dialog was displayed (to open the Options dialog, press the Options button on the main tool bar), you might wonder what the Add new items to study list option did. For a quick explanation, right click over the text Add new items to study list. A pop up menu will appear containing, in this case, one item- What's this?. Click on the What's this? menu item and a description of this option will appear. As soon as you click somewhere else on the screen, the explanation will go away. You can use this feature to get a quick explanation of nearly every part of Scriptorian, without going to the help documentation.
