Tips: Scripture Marking

Many of us have developed the habit of marking favorite verses in our scriptures. With red pencil handy, we read along and then highlight those verses that we want to remember. But once these gems are found and identified, all too often we are unable to find them again. "I think I remember reading a verse that said something like that somewhere..." is all we can come up with.

If you really want to remember where those special verses are, try creating a study list for them in Scriptorian. Just collect them in a study list and then use Chase to help you remember where the verses are located. Since you have the verse already marked in your scriptures, you may want to only learn the chapter that the verse is found in. If you use Chase in Fill In mode, you can set it to quiz you only at the chapter level (see the Fill In Entry Options under the Chase tab of the Options dialog). That way you know right where to look in your scriptures to find those scriptures you marked- showing that you remembered after all!

How do you use Scriptorian? Have you come up with some ideas that may be useful for others? Please feel free to share them with us.
