Tips: Daily Exercise

The most effective exercise program is a regular one- occasional exertions have little long term benefit and may actually be damaging. Similarly, using Scriptorian regularly will produce the best results for exercising your memory and retaining what you want to learn. In fact, trying to learn a large amount of information in one sitting will not only be difficult, but likely produce a dislike of the process as well. Working with a manageable set of items on a regular, preferably daily, basis will produce the best results and easily fit into most everyone's schedule. For those who are in front of the computer for a good portion of the day, Scriptorian's Pop Up mode is an excellent way to fit in regular review and learning.

It is also important to take time to review the items you have learned. It is not necessary to review all items every day or two, but it is a good idea to develop some type of system where you can regularly revisit all the items you have learned in order to retain them. For example, if you have a study list of 100 scriptures you have already memorized, reviewing 5 each day will allow you to review all of them in 20 days. Scriptorian's weighting system will help you work on those items you haven't reviewed recently or those that you are struggling with.

How do you use Scriptorian? Have you come up with some ideas that may be useful for others? Please feel free to share them with us.
