News
Although it has been available for quite a while now, many of you may
not be aware of the Scriptorian Applet. This web site tool is a simple
implementation of Scriptorian's Quote It and Chase features. We have
posted the Scriptorian Applet on our SoftLore site so visitors can
learn the Articles of Faith, seminary scripture mastery verses, and
missionary related text and scriptures. If you haven't already, we
invite you to visit our applet page.
The Scriptorian Applet is a great resource for primary children and
seminary students who don't have Scriptorian on their computer. If you
are a primary or seminary teacher, you may want to let your students
know about the Scriptorian Applet. It is free to use and can help them
learn their scriptures.
The Scriptorian Applet was designed to be easily integrated into a web
site and is available to web masters as a free resource. It is
configurable allowing web masters to set it up for learning
scriptures, quotes, poetry, etc. It can even be used for an on-line
trivia quiz. If you have a web site and would like to post the
Scriptorian Applet on it, please let us know by sending us an e-mail
at Support@SoftLore.com and we will be happy to provide you with the
files and information necessary to do so.
New Free Downloads
Now that school has started up again, make sure to include Scriptorian
as one of your primary learning tools. Scriptorian is not just a great
tool for learning the scriptures, it is a great learning tool for many
things- especially for homework assignments! We have included two new
study lists on our download page that have been created by Scriptorian
users to help them with their homework- one for Spanish vocabulary and
the other for music terminology. You may find these lists useful as
they are, or may use them as a springboard (or inspiration) for
constructing your own lists to assist with your own classroom
assignments and learning goals.
You can download these new study lists by going to the Free Download Area.
Just look for the items marked New
Have you created your own study lists that someone else may find
useful? Do you have some ideas for study lists that you would like to
see? Please feel free share them with us.
