How To: Font Size and Tool bars
The latest Windows Scriptorian update (version 3.0.1.2) includes the
ability to change fonts and a new tool bar for Quote It and Chase.
Here's more information about each.
We have received many requests for changing font sizes in the Quote It
and Chase windows to make the text easier to read. This latest version
now gives you the ability to change the font size through the Options
dialog (select Edit then Options from the main menu) or from the
new Quote It /Chase tool bar.
To change the default font size used in Scriptorian, just go to the
General tab in the Options dialog and set the Font Size control to the
size you desire. The Options dialog setting will then be applied to
all of your Quote It and Chase windows. If different members of the
family have different preferences for the font size, then each can
create their own preference set and customize Scriptorian to their
liking. (select Help, then How Do I?, then Options from the main
menu to display the help page for creating different preference sets)
You can also change the font size in a Quote It or Chase session via
the new tool bar. However, these settings will only last as long as
your Quote It or Chase session. To make any changes permanent, you
will need to make them in the Options dialog.
The new tool bar provides quick access to Quote It and Chase options.
Currently, the Quote It tool bar provides the ability to easily change
the font size and Quote It assist mode. The Chase tool bar allows
changing of the font size as well. These tool bars are available in
both the standard and pop up windows of Quote It and Chase. (Because
of the additional "real estate" taken up by the tool bar, you may need
to resize the pop up window to suit your taste).
The new Quote It/Chase tool bar provides the future option to include
quick access to additional features. Do you have a preference on what
you would like to see there? If so, please let us know by visiting
the feedback page or
sending an e-mail.
