Options Dialog
The Options dialog provides you the ability to set up your own preferences for using Palm Scriptorian. You can access the Options dialog by tapping on the Options button in either Quote It or Chase, or via the Study List Info Dialog.
You can also access the Options dialog from the Options menu.
If the Options dialog is accessed from the menu, because a study list is not selected, the option to set the study list default mode will not be displayed.
Study List Default Mode
You can set the default test mode for the currently selected study list. For example, if you set the default mode to Quote It, when you tap on the study list name in the Study List View, the study list will be launched in Quote It mode.
Quote It Settings
The followed options can be set for Quote It mode. The settings will apply to all study lists, not just the currently selected one:
Assist Mode: Set the desired Quote It Assist mode to be Speed mode, First Letter mode or no assist mode.
Percent Blank: Set the percentage of words to be blanked out. This is used as a guide when randomly removing words from the item's content. The possible values are 10% to 100% in 10% increments.
Tap for word help: If this option is selected, tapping anywhere in the content area of the screen is the same as tapping the Quote It word help button. This is a quick way to display the next word without having to enter the letters, but it will affect that item's weighting. If you use this mode it is recommended that you use it for all items in the same study list in order to keep the help weighting consistent.
